Covid-19

The health and wellbeing of our guests and staff is our priority. Casale Panayiotis’ guest accommodation is dispersed throughout Kalopanayiotis village, with rooms opening directly to the great outdoors.  There are no internal hotel corridors, and all the facilities, including reception, restaurants, and spa, can be accessed from the outside.  There is no need to use an elevator during your stay. 

Additional Health & Safety Measures During the Covid-19 Pandemic 

Our aim is to make your stay as safe and enjoyable as possible.  We have spared no effort to reduce the risk of infection and have adopted a range of new measures to achieve this. 

We have introduced a new Pandemic Management Team who have been fully briefed by our professional Health and Safety Consultants. This team is responsible for ensuring that all our employees are fully conversant with the new measures. All staff have been trained in the most effective hygiene procedures to use during their working hours and they have been provided with the correct PPE for their duties; all in accordance with WHO guidelines and national advice.  

Common areas: Hand sanitizing gels are available at the entrance to all common areas, including restaurants, reception, elevator doors, and public washrooms. Distance markers have been placed in the appropriate areas to remind guests of the required distance for effective social distancing. All door handles, tables and surfaces are cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.  

Check-in is fully automated and completely free of pen and paper.  Guests check-in using a tablet, which will be disinfected as it is given to the guest. 

Room hygiene procedures.  Guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every departure, prior to a new guest arriving. 

Restaurant procedures.  We have re-organised our table layouts to offer the maximum space between tables.  These areas are disinfected regularly and after each use, including tables and seating.  Digital menus are available via QR codes to view on your personal smartphone.  In-room dining will also continue to operate under new strict measures to ensure your safety. 

Spa procedures.  The spa will be adopting additional health and safety measures, including reduced capacity in the Hydotherapy and Thermal Suites in pre-booked 2-hour time intervals, with 30 min in between each slot to allow for disinfection of the area. Please arrive 30 minutes before your booked treatment time to allow sufficient time for registration and briefing on the new procedures.  Only two people are permitted in the changing rooms at any time and they will be cleaned regularly throughout the day. A full list of procedures will be displayed at the Spa. We strongly advise pre-booking use of the spa facilities before your stay to avoid disappointment.

Casale Panayiotis is operating a flexible cancellation policy in relation to Covid-19.  Guests who wish to cancel their stay because of a positive PCR test may cancel free of charge on presentation of evidence.  Guests who wish to cancel their stay owing to travel restrictions to Cyprus imposed by their usual country of residence and/or due to a national lockdown in Cyprus, may also cancel free of charge.
